Overall positive, minor shipping delay

I ordered the Oatmeal Honey Soap and a Natural Sea Sponge. The products themselves are really nice; the soap smells great and the sponge is good quality. The website was easy to use, and checkout was smooth. Shipping took a little longer than I expected, about 8 days to reach me in California, which was a slight bummer. It wasn't a major delay, just something to note. Customer service was helpful when I inquired about the status. Good value for what you get, just plan for a bit of extra shipping time.

Got some cool stuff

So I was just browsing for some new bath stuff and ended up on Lori's Soaps. Picked up a couple of Bath Bombs and some Eucalyptus Soap. They got here pretty fast, like four days, which was cool. The bath bombs smelled amazing, and the soap felt good on my skin. Just a nice, easy shopping trip.

Good deal on goat milk soap

I was looking for some good quality goat milk soap without spending a fortune. Lori's Soaps had a 'buy 5 get 1 free' deal, which worked out well. I signed up for their newsletter too and got a first order discount. Definitely felt like I got my money's worth.

Smooth order, nice products

I ordered a few bars of their Lavender Soap, an Exfoliating Sponge, and some unscented sensitive skin soap. The website was easy to navigate for ordering. Shipping took about 6 days to get to me in Michigan, which was standard. Everything arrived well-packaged and intact. The soap quality seems great so far, lathering nicely and not overly drying. The sponge feels durable. I had a question about one ingredient before buying and their customer service responded within a few hours. Overall a good experience.

Reliable for gifts

This isn't my first time ordering from Lori's Soaps. I usually get their gift baskets around holidays, and this time I picked up a Spa Gift Set for my mom. The quality is always consistent, and the shipping is dependable. It arrived on time just like my previous orders. They're my go-to for thoughtful gifts, and I appreciate that I know what I'm getting every time.

I'm looking at getting some of the goat milk soap but also a sponge. Is there a way to get free shipping on a smaller order? Don't think I'll hit 50 bucks.

R Renee 1 month ago
Free shipping kicks in at $50, so if you're under that you'll have to pay. Sometimes they have holiday specials though.

N Neil Okafor 1 month ago
Nah, it's pretty much that $50 threshold. You could maybe try signing up for their newsletter, sometimes they send out a small discount code that could help a little, but probably won't cover shipping if your order is small.

I'm in Orlando, could I just drive over and pick up my order to save on shipping? Is there a physical store?

E Emma T. 1 month ago
They have a physical store in Madeira Beach, pretty close to John's Pass. I think you can do local pickup there, yeah. Check their site for the exact address.

Yep, you can! Just make sure to select local pickup during checkout. It's in Madeira Beach, totally doable from Orlando for sure.

Thinking of trying the charcoal soap for my face, but I have really sensitive skin. Will this be too harsh?

T Troy J. 4 weeks ago
I use their unscented sensitive skin soap and it's super mild. Not sure about the charcoal specifically, but their stuff is usually pretty gentle. Maybe try a smaller bar first?

My mom uses the charcoal and she has sensitive skin, says it's fine for her. Their goat milk stuff is generally pretty good for that though, I'd say try it out!

What's the return policy like if I get a soap and don't like the scent? Can I send it back?

N Nina E. 1 month ago
I returned some body butter once because I accidentally ordered the wrong scent. It was pretty straightforward, as long as it's unopened. You usually cover return shipping though.

I Ivy Marsh 1 month ago
Returns are usually fine, but for hygiene stuff like soap, it probably needs to be unused. Check their policy on the website to be sure, but unopened is usually key.

Are those 'buy 5 get 1 free' deals still active for the soap bars? Don't see it explicitly advertised everywhere.

F Faith 4 weeks ago
I just did that last month! It should still apply automatically at checkout when you add enough soaps to your cart. Got a free lavender one.

M Mike Nguyen 3 weeks ago
Yep, it's usually for the soap bars. Just make sure they aren't already part of a different bundle deal, sometimes those deals don't stack.

Are the sea sponges actually natural? Like, not synthetic or anything weird?

D Derek Osei 1 month ago
Yeah, they're the real deal. They talk about them being sustainably sourced on their site too.

Definitely natural. I've bought a few over the years and they feel totally authentic, not like those fake ones you find sometimes.

Hey, wondering how long it usually takes for orders to arrive? I'm in California and need some stuff for a gift pretty soon.

C Cody 1 month ago
Mine usually get here in about a week to 10 days, also on the west coast. Depends on the shipping option you pick though.

M Marcus Reyes 1 month ago
Yeah, pretty standard. I'm in Texas and it's usually less than a week for me. They ship from Florida so California might be a bit longer like the other user said.

How do these soaps compare to, say, Buff City Soap? I usually use their stuff.

D Derek G. 2 weeks ago
I've tried both! Lori's Soaps feel a bit more natural and less 'perfumey' to me, if that makes sense. Buff City can be really strong with scents. Lori's feels really good on the skin, less drying.

Buff City is cool, but Lori's goat milk soaps are just amazing for moisturizing. I find them lasting longer too. Definitely worth trying if you like handmade soaps.
